I’m not sure how many people know about all the little parks in Darke County, Ohio, but I’ve come across a couple already that I don’t know I ever would have found except for running every road of the county will take me past all of them at some point.
Worth Family Preserve and Drew Woods Preserve are a couple that are really kind of tucked out of the way and I’m guessing a lot of people don’t know about.

If we can’t have big parks, or a lot of parks, I’d sure like everyone to at least be able to utilize what we DO have. Enjoy!
Oh, one last note… A number of our parks have geocaches hidden in them. I just recently became aware of the whole geocaching thing when visiting Worth Family Preserve. It’s kind of a fun thing to do when you’re out and about in the woods. I’ve only logged a few caches so far, but I hope to collect a bunch more as time goes on. Here’s a link to the one at Worth Family Preserve, it’s called “Worth the Hike, Too”
